My Summer Favorites

Sorry Iv'e been way too busy, but I promise to me more consistent with my postings. Due to Milwaukee weather, it hasn't really felt like Summer yet. The weather has been very cool and windy, so it's always nice to wear a jacket because you never know when the weather will drop. Below are some pictures of me in a H&M orange long sleeve romper, and a long sleeve jacket as well as leather booties :) One of my favorite ensembles.

Flashback fashion show

I was given the great opportunity to model in a church fashion show. The fashion show focused on what women wore starting from the 1860s-1950s. 

Here's my friends dress her dress was focused on the 1940s.

My dress was designed to focus on the 1920s. 

Can you believe how fashion has developed over time. The way I look at it is that during a certain time of era influenced women to dress a certain way remember the flapper look when women were able to dress more freely with drop waist and women began to enjoy life by smoking, gambling and dressing freely.

"If it doesn't challenge you it doesn't change you"! My body and my mind feels wonderful while working out, there's nothing more relaxing than being able to enjoy natures fresh air. As you can see I love wearing Nike, not only does there brand motivate people to "just do it", there clothes can agree as well that wearing nike branded workout clothes can help you feel comfortable and cute while working out. 

Winter is coming to an end :)

Style is a way to say who you are without having to speak. The way I choose to dress is the way I want other people to see how clothing can truly make me feel happy.  I do agree that clothing can influence your mood. 

My thoughts about Milan's fashion week

What I loved about Milan fashion week. 

The phenomelal Jeremy Scott incorporated 90s hip hop scene.  The models graced the runway wearing shirts branded with images of Bugs Bunny, graffiti spray painted dresses to teddy bear gear :) 

Prada segment during Milan fashion week. The collection was filled with pastel tweeds, sharped two toned bowling  bags and Mary Jane pumps ! 

Lastly, Dolce and Gabbana featured models carrying babies and prints inspired by children’s doodles. I personally think it was a great way to lean towards having differnt types of models. When we think of models we automatically think of skinny but I think models should be able to walk on a runway in all different shapes and sizes. We as women need to love ourselves and inspire others to do the same. 

Add some mustard tights to your wardrobe.

Mustard tights aren't as always attractive as other colors. It took me a while to step out of my comfort zone, but it feels amazing to try new pieces to my own style! I wore mustard tights to give my look a little sunshine. 

Confidence is the key :)
